Everyone was calling on our nation to pray. You captured the shock and horror of that moment perfectly. All we could do is stare at the TV in unbelief and call upon God for mercy and grace. The worst part was wondering if this was an isolated incident or if our country was about to be ravished by outside forces for years. People turned to God in those days following 9/11, as they always do in times of great distress, but when life got back to normal, they once again shoved him into the background, not realizing that we need him every minute of every day.Oh, how I wish that they would turn to him once again, because our country is still in trouble, but this time the enemy is attacking from within, not from some far away country. Still...God is on the throne and his purposes will prevail!Jan Christiansenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16578696706386613012noreply@blogger.com
